John StephenKNIGHTJohn passed away surrounded by his loving family in Teesside Hospice on 2nd December aged 86. Beloved Husband of Edie, Devoted Dad to Debbie, Mandy, Jillian and the late Pamela. Dear Father- in-Law to Kevin, John, Keith & Richard. Cherished Grandfather to Kevin, Ashleigh, Anthony, Victoria. Danielle, Kerry Ann, Scott, Lauren & Ben and a Great-Grandfather to 15 and Friend to many. Will be sadly missed by all. Family request a splash of burgundy to be worn please. Funeral service to be held on Thursday 18th December, in St. John's Church, Southbank at 11am followed by a burial in Eston Cemetery, the family would like to invite friends and family back to the Eston Labour Club to celebrate John's life. We say goodbye to our beloved grandad, whose kindness, laughter, and gentle wisdom shaped our lives in countless ways. He had a gift for making ordinary moments feel magical, whether through his stories, his steady encouragement, or the simple joy he found in being with his family. One of our fondest memories will always be sitting together as he folded paper planes for all of us, each one a small act of love that filled our days with excitement and wonder. Those paper planes, like his spirit, soared with creativity, patience, and joy. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his warmth in our hearts always.
